Manufacuring Process

At Vinayak precast , we utilize three distinct, high-quality production methods—Hand-Made, Horizontal Casted, and Vertical Casted—to manufacture a diverse range of durable and precisely engineered precast concrete structures. Each method is chosen to optimize the product's finish, complexity, and structural requirements.

1. About Hand-Made Panel

This method often implies a high degree of manual labor and flexibility , often used for complex architectural panels, one-off designs, or where advanced machinery is not the primary focus. It frequently utilizes wet-cast techniques with a higher water-cement ratio for workability, and uses stationary molds.

• Mold Preparation:

• 1. Custom Molds (often of timber/wood, sometimes steel or fiberglass) are assembled on a casting bed or floor.
• 2. The mold's interior is thoroughly cleaned and coated with a release agent to prevent sticking.

• Reinforcement:

• 1. A pre-assembled rebar cage (reinforcement steel) is accurately placed inside the mold, supported by spacers to ensure the correct concrete cover .

• Concrete Batching & Pouring:

• 1. The concrete mix is precisely batched (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) for quality.
• 2. The concrete is manually placed or poured into the mold.

• Compaction & Finishing:

• 1. Compaction is achieved using internal vibrators (pokers) or external vibrating tables to remove entrapped air, increasing density and strength.
• 2. The top surface (the exposed face after erection for a flat-cast element) is finished manually using trowels or floats, or by applying a surface retarder or an architectural finish.

• Curing:

• 1. The panel is cured in a controlled environment (temperature and moisture) until it achieves the required demolding strength.

• Demolding & Storage:

• 1. Once cured, the panel is carefully stripped from the mold, inspected, marked, and moved to the storage yard, often stored vertically on racks.

2. About Horizontal Casted Panel

This is the most common method for precast panels, where the element is cast flat on a horizontal casting bed. This allows for excellent control over the finish of one main face.
